Hello, my remote control for my Golf 4, manufactured in February 2002, is no longer working. The diagnostic tool shows error code 01336, "Concerned data bus, comfort, 49-10, communication interrupted." Can anyone help me?

A CAN bus typically operates using two twisted-pair wires, designated as CAN-High and CAN-Low.
I would like to take a look at measurement data block 012 in the comfort system (address 46).
Possibly there's something stuck inside, but let's not assume that for now!
Since the error is sporadic, it should be possible to delete it.
If it doesn't register again, then I would start looking at the FFB unit itself (battery).
In measurement block 9, you can see the currently received key value, or 'no signal' if no key is being pressed. If it's not responding at all, it's likely a problem with the force feedback (FFB) system itself.
'Would you like another one?'

Hello! Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, I don't understand what "STG inne fritten" and "FFB" refer to. I deleted the error message, but it reappears immediately. The remote control also doesn't work with the second key. The Golf has had some other issues as well, and I think they are all related. The power windows sometimes don't work, the hazard lights flicker on briefly, the alarm light is on, and the horn beeps briefly. I then removed the door panel and sprayed the connectors with contact cleaner. After that, everything worked again except for the remote control. Best regards, rsch.

Hello.
Hopefully, your car's control unit isn't submerged in water. You can find the control unit under the carpet in front of the driver's seat. Check there to see if everything is still dry, or if you've experienced any water ingress. If you find any moisture, expose the black box under the carpet and take the control unit to a warm place to dry it thoroughly.
Regards,

hb2000, the comfort control unit is actually supposed to be located next to the steering column in the Golf 4...
