What kind of diagnostic cable do I need for a Bora manufactured in 2001-06?

Your Bora uses only a single K-line for diagnostics, and if you don't need to cover any other vehicles, an interface from the KEY series would be the right choice for you.

You can find this, for example, at RKS in their online shop.

The price includes a VAG-COM license, which is valid for current versions (currently 512.2).

KKL, yes. CAN, no. For CAN, the only option is the HEX+CAN series.

You can't modify the engine maps with this; you'll need to invest a few thousand euros more for that.

Because you could have already found all of this information in the product description of the KEY-Interfaces...

I asked about CAN and KKL because I read that there is a USB connection for all VAG vehicles. I couldn't tell from the paragraph whether this only referred to the connector.

By "parameter fields," I mean dynamic self-calibration, torque control, quantity control, soot reduction, injection quantity, etc.

I don't plan to change those values just to turn my 90hp AHU into a "totally awesome tuning machine." It should be able to reach 300,000 km and that's good enough .

You cannot edit this type of characteristic fields with this tool.
