Good evening.
I'm curious to know why a SUB-D9 CAN cable is included with my RKS+CAN CAN interface.
"I have successfully recorded and transmitted CAN data using the interface. But what can be done with the SUB-D9 CAN cable? The description states that the cable can be used to create custom adapter cables. If I connect pins 2 and 7 of the SUB-D9 cable to the CAN line, can I actually use the KCANMonitor with it, or not? Because I can't seem to connect to the software at all."
In the "RKS+CAN Software and Drivers" sheet, under "Commissioning," you will find the pin configuration for the CIA interface (CIA DS102-1), which can, of course, be implemented using the included adapters/cables.
