Airbag Warning: Seat Adjustment Issues

Hello everyone,

After moving the passenger seat all the way forward to transport a large roll of carpet...
after pushing it back and uprighting the backrest, when you turn it on,
The ignition in the MFA (Multi-Function Display) shows an airbag warning with a beep. Additionally, the warning light is not working.

I found the side airbag connector under the seat (on the seat side, yellow).
The connector was checked (visually inspected and tested for loose connections), and nothing unusual was found.

Bleibt dieser Fehler permanent im Speicher oder löscht der sich von selber. I suspect a...
'Instability' or 'wobbling' after adjusting the seat.

The vehicle is a 2000 Golf ALH, and the seats have manual height adjustment.

Is there any risk involved, or can the vehicle be driven for a few days until the problem is diagnosed?
Can they be used again? (Except that the airbags might not deploy.)

I live here in the southwestern United States, and everyone drives slowly.

Then I wiggled the plug, and the problem disappeared.
