Hi!
'Since yesterday, I've been having a problem where the ESP light sometimes comes on. Then, if you restart the engine, it goes away again.'
I have now read out the error code.
18265 - Engine speed signal from the engine control unit (ECU).
Error message from the engine control unit (ECU).
What could that be? I've already deleted the error before, but it keeps reappearing after a while.
Okay, here's the translation:
Thank you.
P.S. I have a Polo 1.9 TDI with the AXR engine.

Is there a fault code stored in the engine control unit?
If not, is the following possible:
(It might be a bit of a stretch, but I've encountered a similar case before.)
Perhaps the engine control unit is briefly shutting down (possibly due to a faulty relay for power supply), which is why the ESP is temporarily not receiving a signal.

The engine control unit (ECU) shows the following error:
17911 - Air intake system leak detected.
It's strange, I actually thought I had found the leak, but a screw was missing from the EGR valve (for some reason).
Could the error be related to another error?
