Hello everyone!

Does anyone have a Golf IV or Bora with xenon headlights (manufactured from 2002 onwards) where the control units are located on the headlight housings themselves?
If so, what number should this control unit have?
I purchased headlights from e*** with a production date of 03/03 (from a car involved in an accident) and also installed them.
Now I have a problem because neither of the two ALWR steam turbines is responding.
I'm a little suspicious that one of the ECUs has no sticker on it, and the other has a sticker without a VW part number and a production date of 05/02.
I suspect that the control units were installed from a different vehicle.
These will not fit into the diagnostic system of the Golf IV.
Is that even possible?

Okay, I retrofitted the axle sensors with a wiring harness.
I have checked the voltage and wiring.
It seems everything is fine.

Please help!

"Thank you!"

Best regards.
Maxx.

Are you aware that the xenon control units have nothing to do with ALWR?

With the headlights produced from 2002 onwards, it's actually icon_smile.gif.
The ballast and the control unit of the ALWR are housed in a single enclosure.
A picture of something like that:

Wow... I guess that falls into the category of 'something new learned.' Thanks.
