Hello everyone,

Before I have any tuning work done, which channels should I log to get a good comparison (before and after)?
Okay, here's the translation:

'I was thinking of doing a full-throttle run in 3rd or 4th gear, from 1200 RPM to 5000 RPM, while measuring boost pressure, fuel injection volume, injection duration, RPM, diesel temperature, and air mass. Then, I'd repeat the same process, but this time only with half throttle, to also record the EGR rate. What have I forgotten, or what measurements are pointless? Do you have any other tips? Maybe try it at 2000 RPM sometime.'
Suddenly accelerate to full speed from a standstill and log the data (what?)?
Thank you for your information. By the way, MKB: ASZ / GKB: ERF.

Perhaps also mention the keying rate, load pressure control, and KPower again...

I was thinking of doing a full-throttle run in 3rd or 4th gear, from 1200 RPM to 5000 RPM, and measuring boost pressure, fuel injection volume, injection duration, RPM, diesel temperature, and air mass. Then, I would repeat the same process, but this time only with half throttle, so I can also record the EGR rate.

Hi,

AGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) interventions are best observed at low engine speeds, up to 2000 rpm. -> Log the MWB 3 data.

For the ASZ tuning comparison, please log the values of modules MWB 1, 8, 10, and 11 at full throttle, as you mentioned.
Not all four can be combined, so for example, you could do two passes with 8 and 10, and then two passes with 1 and 11.

From the combination of values 8 and 10, one can approximately calculate the mass-lambda value in the opacity control system (air mass through opacity limitation). The partial load range can also be interesting here, because some tuners inject more diesel into the opacity at "approximately three-quarters of the air mass" than air is available for combustion new_tomato.gif.

Pay attention to the difference between the actual and target values (LD Actual minus Target) before and after the MWB 11 process.

MWB 1 demonstrates, through the relationship between quantity and pumping duration, whether the tuning is partially (or entirely) based on the 10c principle, by adjusting only the pumping duration setting. If the quantity and pumping duration are increased proportionally, then it is a "better" tuning.

Once the tuning is complete, I will get back to you.
