Are the additional seals that significantly reduce wind noise available for the G3 model?

According to my , numbers 21 and 24 should not exist.

And why are they on the picture ? Maybe they are only available for special models (GLX, etc.). Or ask the next person . At VAG, the right hand often doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Is this even a G3 door? I'm more inclined to think it's an A3 door. Also, there's a rubber strip listed here that wouldn't fit due to my car's sill (G3 '93 5-door, but not a wagon).

The rear door on my car is slightly sloped at the top. I can't imagine that a 21-inch item would fit there.

With the G3, it's not just the wind noise that's a reason to install these things, but also because a lot of dirt tends to accumulate at the back of the frame (e.g., easily getting dirt on your pants when getting in). The wind noise is actually within acceptable limits for me (regarding the doors).

These seals have been occupying my thoughts for many months.
I once owned two Passat 35i models, a 2.0L and a 2.8L VR6. The VR6 also had these additional seals, which resulted in significantly less wind noise.
Possibly, these parts are only available in the USA or Japan?
The parts for US models are not displayed as available in the German parts catalog, while parts for Japanese models are. Therefore, I suspect it might be US parts. Unfortunately, the US version doesn't have the same configuration, so the parts might not fit correctly at the rear.

Perhaps there's still a 'Schlaubi' Smurf around here?

I wanted to bring up this topic again, as I'm very interested in it myself. The Golf 3 (especially the Variant model) becomes quite noisy above 130 km/h. Does anyone have information about these "extra door seals," and where one can buy them?
Even cleaning and using rubber care products aren't enough to solve the problem.

It's probably because the Golf 3 doesn't have a metal lip above the door edge. This results in a minimal gap between the door and the body, through which wind can whistle.

I am very grateful for any ideas and suggestions.

Perhaps you could modify something similar to the B-pillars of a Vectra B.

The G3 VR6 5-door model doesn't have it.

I recognize the image, and I've even considered retrofitting those additional seals when I still had my Golf. However, I'm not familiar with any Golf, Variant, or Vento models that have these extra seals installed.
