External temperature sensor and tank level sensor disconnected

I hope someone can help me.

My fuel gauge has been malfunctioning since today. I just read out the error codes.

Fuel sensor disconnected.
Ambient temperature sensor disconnected.

I'm not entirely comfortable with the fact that these two errors are occurring simultaneously. Could it be a problem with the instrument cluster?

Where is the outside temperature sensor located in the Seat Ibiza 6L?

My car:
Seat Ibiza 6L, year of manufacture 2002.

1.9 TDI

I can't say for sure, but early Ibizas had the fuel cap on the outside of the driver's side mirror. Otherwise, check the front bumper, usually on the left side.
If the errors occurred simultaneously, the possibility of a defect in the connectors to the AI system or in the AI system itself cannot be completely ruled out.

Could you please post a complete diagnostic report (car scan)?

The outside temperature sensor is located on the left-hand side in the direction of travel, next to the fog light... it's simply clipped in place there.
