Hello everyone.

Okay, here's the translation:

'I'm new here and I'm having the following problem.'

Audi A6 2.5 TDI quattro.
Year of manufacture: 07/2002.
Mileage: 85,000 km
Claim: Primarily highway driving - long distances.
Average consumption: 10.7 liters.

At 25,000 km, *** tuning.
The turbocharger was replaced at 55,000 km.
Allegedly, small debris flying around had damaged the shovel.
At 75,000 km, the turbocharger was replaced again.
Identical diagnosis.
Simultaneous restoration to factory settings, as it is the unanimous opinion.
to the Audi workshop, stating that this could only be related to the *** modifications.
At 85,000 km, the turbocharger was replaced again.
the exhaust gas recirculation valve.
Diagnosis: Unable to explain the emergency mode, but...
It must come from the turbocharger.
The manifold was not replaced because the latest version is already in use.
and issues only arose with a previous version.

The mass airflow sensor was replaced between 75,000 km and 85,000 km.
exchanged a total of 4 times.

All turbocharger failures were preceded by a strange noise.
that occurs when you rapidly accelerate and then immediately release the gas pedal.
made it noticeable.
It could be described as a rattling or whirring sound coming from the engine compartment.
Initially, it only occurred at low speeds, but then also at higher speeds, for example, from 80 to 100 km/h.
and then even when accelerating.
After that, the turbocharger failed, and the engine went into emergency mode with maximum speed. Speed approximately 100 km/h.

The last turbocharger was replaced last Friday, May 7th. After that, it's my turn.
Drove 800 km.
The noise described above is now occurring again, therefore, a visit to the workshop is necessary.
Visit on Saturday, May 8th.

Okay, here's the translation:

'Now, the workshop has checked everything, including the error memory and turbocharger performance.'
LMM, Krümmer, and she found nothing.
That's why the statement was made that the noise was normal.

Since the same thing started happening with the other turbos, and I'm currently experiencing this issue this week.
Since I have to drive about 2000 km and I depend on this vehicle, I don't feel like doing that.
I really don't want to go through those troubles again after the last few weeks.

Question:
Is there anyone else experiencing similar problems, and has anyone found a solution?
Are there ways to 'tie up' the workshop or Audi itself, perhaps temporarily? Return.
What is the make and model of the vehicle? Sure, here's the translation:

'Keyword: Expert, etc.'

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Regards,
Sascha.

Hello,

Were the intercoolers replaced after each destroyed turbocharger? Have all the intercoolers been removed and cleaned?
If not, the origin of the small parts from damages 2 and 3 is clear, then the workshop is responsible for payment, and no one else.
I would hinge it on that, and if necessary, involve an expert and the courts.

A turbocharger can fail sometimes, but it's unlikely to break down three times in a row due to small parts in the intake system!
After the loader failed so many times -> the whole vehicle was out of commission! Who guarantees that the valves, exhaust system, catalytic converter, and cylinder walls will now reach their normal lifespan?

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer.

Thank you for the quick response.

At the 1st... Replacement of the turbocharger, intercooler, and all related components.
'Air intake pipes were even replaced, according to...' Vehicle history of the Audi.
Since I didn't receive an invoice due to the manufacturer's warranty,
It was just a visual inspection on my part, and the result was positive.
proceeded.

The question is now whether I should contact Audi directly and hire an expert appraiser.
demand, or whether I should take the initiative and offer something myself.
independent search.

Does DEKRA, for example, offer such services?
Can I hold the workshop liable?

The consequential damages that can occur would be covered by a...
Are expert opinions also being made public?

According to. 'Regarding the turbocharger, the bearing has failed today.'
Statement from the workshop indicating a change in production.
and this constitutes a material defect.
Can that really be true, or is it ultimately just a cheap excuse?

Thank you for the response.

Best regards from East Frisia.

Sascha.
