"Due to a failure in the climate control module (STG) of an 85kW PD Sharan manufactured in 2001, a used part from a 96kW vehicle will be used. Do I need a special LOGIN code to reprogram the climate control module for the new engine, or can the coding be changed without one?"

Has anyone ever done this before, or is anyone familiar with it?
