HI.
Today I installed the Golf 4 GRA kit on my Leon 1M.
Bis auf die Tatsache, dass die Anleitung unvollstaendig ist, alles ok. The GRA is great.
BUT:
When you have to steer a lot, for example when maneuvering, something clicks inside the return ring, about once or twice per rotation.
During the modification, I naturally left the ring in the middle position and secured it with tape when it was extended.
My theory about it is:
The steering wheel is mounted on the steering column, and it's guaranteed to be positioned exactly as it was before the modification.
The reset ring is clipped into the steering column lever assembly, where the left and supporting part is now new (the left lever has a clamp that secures both levers to the steering column).
If the ring is not perfectly concentric with the steering wheel, or if its plane of rotation is tilted relative to the steering wheel, the connector and the two pins on the ring in the steering wheel will engage. This could cause a clicking sound.
How could I become the master of clicking? Probably only by first taking everything apart

.

"I'm not sure what you mean by that."
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.
