G4 ALH: Parts Needed for Timing Belt Replacement

Hello everyone,

The timing belt on my G4 (manufactured in 2000, ALH engine, all stock components) needs to be replaced soon. Mileage: 177,000 km.
I need the timing belt, tensioner pulley, all idler pulleys, and the water pump. Also, I need the valve cover gasket.

I live here in the USA, and I will be in Germany for 3 weeks in February. I plan to get all the necessary parts while I'm there.
and have it replaced by a qualified colleague. (A VAG-Com diagnostic tool is available).

My questions:

What additional screws, seals, etc. do I need?
'Are there cheaper (better) sources to buy these parts from other than the friendly seller, and what would they cost?'

Here's another minimal variant :

Starting with engine number ALH500001, a different timing belt is used. The repair kit (link) is missing a tensioner pulley.

038 121 011 AX Water pump (replacement) with sealing ring.
038 109 243 N - Tension roller.
058 109 244 Deflection roller
038 109 244 E - Idler pulley.
038 109 244 M Deflection roller.

038 109 119 Timing belt, valid up to ALH, 500,000 km.
028 010 227 E Timing belt, from chassis number ALH 500001.

The following screws need to be replaced:

2 pcs. 6-point screw, engine mounting bracket to body (M10*55-SW16A) + Part No. 105 167 01.

3 pcs 6-point screw fuel injection pump rotor (M8*16) (only for pump rotor 038 130 111 A) + N 903 285 04.

Tensioner roller bolt (M10A*M8*68-C) Part number: 014 634 1.
Washer (8.4*15*1.6) + N 011 558 11
6-point self-locking nut (M + part number 900 744 01.

All other screws can be replaced.

Everything together at approximately 275.- plus VAT.

Can't you buy the parts in the USA? Don't they have dealerships there too?

The water pump is a replacement part (or at least significantly cheaper as such) - therefore, remove the old pump beforehand, or travel back to Germany later...

The prices here at VAG are very high. Just the necessary materials, according to the estimate, amount to...
approximately €400.
Furthermore, you never know if you're getting the right parts, as German vehicle identification numbers are not recognized here.

We've posted the replacement part numbers for you.

I would buy this stuff anyway from the open market, because there are different available there than with [the company/brand], and you can negotiate discounts. However, you should make sure that you are not sold any junk. You can use the phrase "OE quality" from Conti without any problems. Possibly, you can have the parts assembled individually, because sometimes they are cheaper than in a set.
I would buy the Wapu replacement because of a bad experience with the .

Or can this be determined based on the identification number?

Normally, there is a sticker on the top cover of the rear differential.
