Hey everyone,
Is there a direct sales outlet or an online shop for Pierburg products? My mass airflow sensor (part number 074906461) has failed again.
The part costs about €120 from the dealer, which I think is outrageous, especially since it used to be available as a replacement part for €75.

Unfortunately, Rainer no longer offers any LMM products icon_sad.gif.

Does anyone know of any affordable sources for mass airflow sensors?

Greetings.
Reuselkopp.

116€ including tax. And it's still available 'cheaply'. After the part number, there is a space then an x. icon_lol.gif Then it only costs 98€ including tax. I would always prefer that one over something from the accessories.

And it's not a 'rip-off.' At VW, it always costs a few euros more, and a Pierburg part from the aftermarket also costs €73 plus VAT in the retail price. So, it's negligibly less. icon_wink.gif

"So, there's still an LMM (lambda sensor) available as a replacement part? Then I need to check with my local dealer again. He said that the replacement part is no longer available because they are selling the new ones at the price of the replacement parts. Are there differences in what VW dealers offer?"

Greetings.

The prices are the same everywhere. Enter the part number, press the spacebar, then an 'X', and you'll find that the mass airflow sensor is over €20 cheaper. icon_wink.gif

So, just try the 074906461 X. icon_wink.gif If that's not available, you can find a discount group 4 on the one without the index, and then ask them to give you something from it. } Even then, the price will be adjusted again. }

Hmm... that's something!

Okay, I'll try my luck with them again. Let's see what they have to say about it!

"Thank you!"

Hello,
I found an even more affordable solution. This one was my favorite. I was able to simply replace my defective mass airflow sensor with a new one!
"On the old one, I still had a warranty for spare parts, and the customer service representative was kind enough to acknowledge this."

Okay, here's the translation:

"I just unpacked the new LMM and realized that it's no longer made by Pierburg, but by I2S-Germany. What kind of manufacturer is that? Are their parts any good? Why did VAG change manufacturers?"

Greetings
