Good evening.

I've already used the search function and looked at the technical articles, but I still have a question about the crankshaft bolt. Since I'd like to replace the crankshaft seal, I want to loosen the crankshaft bolt. What's the best way to do this? Is there a locking tool for it? How do you do it? I was thinking of building some kind of rod to hold it in place and using the four holes in the pulley on the timing wheel as threaded holes!???!

If I ever manage to get that screw loose...
What does the crankshaft stub look like? Is it a cone without any grooves, so that the timing belt pulley can be placed on it in any position?

That's all regarding the KW screw.

I then had a small leak on my ESP icon_eek.gif.
The MSW part up there isn't it... I suspect it's one of the outlets leading to the nozzles, because there's a small amount of diesel collecting somewhere there, and then about every 20 seconds, a drop falls onto my engine block! It's not very easy to see.

I'm attaching another picture so you can see if the effort involved with the screw is worth it. But I think the KW seal definitely needs to be replaced.

Oh, that reminds me; Can the oil pan gasket be replaced without removing the engine? icon_confused.gif It looks extremely tight down there.

I hope you can help me with these problems.

THANK YOU

Basti.

I built a bracket for the kW screw. It has two holes that align with the kW washer.

He then lies down on the edge of the engine block. Simply holding it in place probably won't work; it's quite solid.

The contact surface is not conical, but round with a flattened side.

I would definitely replace the pinion gear at the same time!
Man muss es nicht brauchen, aber man muss es haben!
