Hi
can someone provide me with a drawing of the back door on the 3C?
The best way to disassemble it.
My squeaking is located in the C-pillar area (i.e., the black part on the door), and I'm not sure whether to leave it to VW or try to fix it myself.

Exactly, I'm looking for information on how to remove the part of the door that _visually_ belongs to the C-pillar.
So, this black pillar-like covering ON THE DOOR.
There's something clicking inside.
The noise sounds like something inside is a Bowden cable that is loose (but there isn't one inside), or a glued-together part that is repeatedly sticking and tearing.
This is annoying, especially when you pay extra for the VW Sound Package and then can't use certain features because it drives you crazy.
The button for adjusting the assistant's position also seems to be malfunctioning - in the area where the "button" used to be. One can eliminate this by "pushing it away," but if you let it go, it will come back.

I'm assuming you received the PM, and hope it's sufficient. If not, please reach out again.

we do not want to withhold the (possible) solution
The problem lies in the insufficient voltage at the door-to-door covering connection.
in certain areas, felt strips or similar materials should simply be attached under the door trim...

Thank you for the information.
I'm just frustrated that things are not working smoothly in HR elsewhere.
When they didn't properly secure the black part next to the window.
Because when you press it against the window frame (with your hand), there's no more crackling.

Ugh... now I have to go and get our tires checked and have them rotated... that's what happens with new cars...

hmm... so, there are also "cracks" in the roof area (apparently only appearing at higher temperatures)... however, they are mainly in the B-pillar area.
I would personally hand the car over to the dealer. Why would you bother with that?
searching for sounds can be very (time-)consuming...
and the original price...

I'm also concerned about the time.
If I can provide the workshop with the "guiding direction," they won't waste so much time searching, and I can better evaluate their work.
I just want to do it properly, and not just get a "it's gone now" result, especially if there's already a standard procedure for how to do it correctly.

Yes, it's better to wait and do it right. My unfortunately bad experience with repairs showed that whenever a problem was solved, a new one immediately appeared: A loose plastic trim was repaired, and then scratches appeared in the adjacent component. What was sad was that after trying to fix it, the original part was defective again. You need to know exactly what you need, then have the necessary time and patience to do it properly. Unfortunately, it's almost always like this... too bad.
