Urgent!!! Difference between AAT models 92-95

After experiencing an engine failure in my 1992 AAT, I am now getting an engine from a 1995 AAT.

my question:

Does that work? / Is that okay? / Does that fit?

AAT = I would say AAT.

AAT is not the same across all models. There are three versions of this engine, and the main difference lies in the fuel injection system. So, if you take the fuel injection system from an older model, it should work. Otherwise, you would need a different engine control unit (ECU).
