Question about replacing the combined instrument's keyless entry system.

Hello, I would like to replace my faulty FIS (Engine Control Unit) from an Audi A3 (8L) 1.8T Mj2003, with CAN-Bus and IMMO3, with a new one. I have the 4-digit WFS PIN code from my current original unit.

Is this 4-digit PIN code sufficient for programming the new FIS, or do I need to have the 4-digit PIN code regenerated for the new VAG system with a 7-digit SKC code including date, importer and dealer number? I will be using VAG Com 402. Thank you for your help.
