Hi.
I wanted to remove my sun visors, but the are stuck to the cable very tightly.
"My 'how-to' guide says you shouldn't force anything, but the connectors for the trim pieces seem to be clipped in somewhere up there."
Wie gehn die Sch... Things out?
The double flaps should be included.
Okay, here's the translation:
Thank you.

Hello Martin.
As I see it, the wiring harness (including the connector) is clipped inside the plastic housing.
You're supposed to fiddle with it a bit... just like it says in your instructions.
However, do not pull the wiring harness out any further than absolutely necessary. Otherwise, your next thread will be: "3C dashboard removal" .

Well...
I've already tried a lot, but nothing is happening.
My next ebook search was for "endoscope," so I could take a look at things minimally invasively.
I probably have to "pull" it again... or I'll have someone else do it .
"Mostly, how do I get the other plugs back in?"
I've also looked into expanding the Formhimmel.

Hey Martin, are you bored? Are you taking apart the whole thing right now...?
In the Golf, the connectors on the headliner are plugged into a type of holder, just like the connectors in the engine compartment. However, you can pull the headliner down far enough to access them.

I found a text online:
* Gently pull on the cable (flat cable) until the connector comes loose from the retaining clip in the mold.
Carefully pull the connector through the opening in the mold cover, but only pull it out as far as just below the mold cover.
Note: Do not pull the connector out any further, as the length of the cable run (flat cable) is limited, and there is a risk that it may tear off.
* Disconnect the connector.
Sure, Maxx.

"That's also how it's done," according to the "So wird's verbockt" guide.
However, (1) the cable running along the bezel is not a flat cable, and (2) the connectors are inaccessible, so you can't pull on anything from the back or do anything else.
So, if you need to detach them from the bracket, how do you put them back in?
Everything is a mess.
@ Matthias: I'm working afternoons and nights this week. And when you then get up in the morning with your loved ones, you only have silly ideas in the morning .

I have a theory:
The supply lines in the ceiling are these flat ducts.
On the lamp above the visor, this wire is initially connected to the plug as an "S" shape and is glued in place from the factory. I was able to easily detach this glue from the lamp because the plug is located inside the lamp, allowing me to pry the "S" shape open.
It's not possible with the reflectors because the connector is seated so deeply that you can't reach it and therefore can't pry it out.
Okay, I'm going to try to move the connector to see if the adhesive "releases."
