Hello,

Now, the problem of the uncontrolled state (the engine seems to be "stalling") is happening again, and I believe it's not good for the engine in the long run, so I always turn it off immediately.

Greetings.
Fritze.

adjust mechanically to the window.
Then the control unit has the option to adjust it automatically, which I would try first.

Correct. It's difficult to rotate the pump via the adjustment channel. icon_wink.gif

Okay, hier ist die Übersetzung:

"Now, let me explain it again for your understanding."
Is the entire fuel injection start curve, from low load to maximum load, adjusted earlier or later via the engine control unit, or does mechanical pump adjustment only limit the possible adjustment range towards "early" and "late" differently?
I can't express it any better!

Hi,

Through adaptation/adjustment in the engine control unit, the entire injection timing map is essentially shifted.
It's no use if the engine control unit wants to inject fuel at a certain time, but the pump is misaligned to such an extent that the desired value can never be reached.
The adjustment range for the start of the injection process is mechanically limited.

Apart from that, the engine control unit (ECU) cannot yet regulate the start of injection during the first engine revolution because the adjustment in the fuel injection pump is hydraulic. Pressure must first be built up in the fuel injection pump.

Therefore, the mechanical position must be adjusted if it is significantly misaligned. => Initial adjustment.

Best regards, Rainer.
