VAG Struts: New Suspension Upgrade

Hello everyone,
Did I read that correctly while browsing the forum?

When installing a new suspension system (shocks and springs), the front strut mounts should definitely be replaced as well. Purchase genuine VAG strut mounts; do not buy aftermarket ones!

There are no strut mounts in the rear of the Audi 80 Avant (B4) 1.9 TDI (1Z) that need to be replaced, right?

What is the name of the strut mounts in the catalog (for the part numbers)? Is it the "mounting bracket" with the number "8A0 412 323 D"?

What about the Meyle reinforced parts? You can find very different opinions about them .
