Hello,
I drive an Audi A6 C4 AEL with an automatic transmission, manufactured in 1996, and I would like to optimize/reduce its fuel consumption. Here's what I found on the RLF forum:

0001X Dynamic switching program is disabled (only fixed, economical switching characteristics are active).
My question: How is the last part to be interpreted (0001X)? And more specifically, what should "X" represent? Should better power consumption values be expected when the DSP is turned off?
Somewhere I read that older BMWs with automatic transmissions, besides the economic/sports shift options, also had a manual mode. Is it possible to enable this through coding? That would be great.
Thank you very much and best regards! ___________________________
