Polo MJ 2002: Stuck A/C or Recirculation Button (Solution)

Polo MJ 2002: The recirculation or AC button occasionally gets stuck.

Cause:
When the recirculation or AC button is pressed, it may occasionally get stuck. In this case, the button will make contact with the surrounding panel.

Solution:
Please check if the recirculation button or the AC button is still sticking even with the panel removed. If this is not the case, please realign the heating and fresh air controls, as well as the panel. If this does not resolve the issue, the panel needs to be reworked. There must be no contact between the buttons and the panel.
