into an Audi A3, first registration 11/05, model 8P, 2.0T.
FIN: WAUZZZ8P76A080884

I would like to retrofit a cruise control system, specifically using the lever from a Golf 5 with part number 1K0953513F9B9.

Steering column control unit installed:
8P0953549E.

It's likely that this board is not equipped for cruise control functionality; it should have a board with the same part number but ending in "F".

Do I need the steering column control unit (SCCU) from a Golf 5 for it to function? With part number: 1K0953549F?

Who knows about that? I've already tried the search function, but I couldn't find anything specific about this issue.
