VCDS 805 - TDI Timing - Not compatible with 1Z

Hello everyone,

Is it possible that in the new VCDS version (by Rainer), you can only select the "AGR, AHF, ALH, ASV" engine variants for TDI timing? The dropdown menu only has this one option. I miss the older 1Z versions - specifically, the ones for my 1Z.

I have values of "t Diesel = 149" and "SB = 23" - according to the graph, this is too late (significantly below the lower line). Now I don't know if this is because of the incorrect engine variant and if it's okay for the 1Z, or if I really need to make a change.

Do you use the current data status (20080626)?

We have reorganized the engine variants to make it more generally clear and to prevent redundant entries.

Hallo Uwe,

woran erkenne ich den Datenstand bzw. wo könnte ich eine entsprechende Datei herunterladen und wo kommt diese hin? Ich habe die Komplettinstallation vor wenigen Wochen bei Rainer im Shop heruntergeladen.

Beim Klick auf das Pulldown-Menü - bzw. den Pfeil rechts daneben - passiert bei mir gar nichts... es kommen keine Motorvarianten.

Ich hab´ den 20080612 - wenn ich Uwe richtig verstehe, nicht den aktuellsten.

Rainer... hast du in deiner Version was vergessen oder übersehe ich was?

wieso bei Problemen nicht einfach mal den aktuellsten Stand runterladen und nachgucken, ob sich das Problem erledigt hat?

Habe eben deinstalliert, frisch heruntergeladen, installiert... und zumindest der Datenstand ist nun auf 20080626 - da ich gerade in Österreich im Urlaub bin, werde ich das ganze frühestens auf der Rückfahrt (am Samstag) ausprobieren und mich dann wieder melden - scheint aber die Ursache gewesen zu sein.
