Document A4 8D, valid until 06/2000, issue with defroster nozzle (Solution)

Air outlet at the defroster nozzle is too small.
The right or left side of the windshield is not being cleared sufficiently.

Cause:
A strip of foam has become lodged in the defroster intermediate piece.
(Part from the footwell/defroster vent).


Solution:
Check air distribution.
If no fault is detected in the system, remove the control panel and the foam strips from the defroster intermediate piece.
