'Hi, because various things keep malfunctioning and the workshop told me I had a grounding issue but couldn't pinpoint the location, I'd like to try troubleshooting it myself. The problem started almost immediately when I got the car, about 500 km later, with my cup holder being defective. To fix that, they had to partially remove the radio. Shortly after (almost exactly 24 hours later), the radio malfunctioned again (the second time they removed it). Strangely, it didn't happen immediately afterward. I have sporadic errors in the CAN-Bus communication logged in the control unit, as well as occasional ESP sensor errors on both rear sides. For example, my acoustic parking system has been malfunctioning for a long time (it doesn't beep consistently or sometimes beeps too late), just like my radio/CD player (it cuts out or turns off/on every 10 seconds). The ESP also doesn't always engage (the light definitely isn't on), even though the wheels are spinning when I give it too much gas. However, there seems to be enough time for it to activate.'

Finally, my question: Is there any procedure to find the perpetrator?

Measure voltage. icon_wink.gif

I would start by measuring the most likely culprits: the mass, the motor, and the battery connections to the chassis. If you can measure a voltage difference between the negative terminal of the battery and the chassis or the motor, then you've already identified a potential problem area.
