Hello,
My 8-year-old TDI has significant rust spots.
Does anyone know if the Audi can be repaired at KJulanz even though it hasn't had a service?
(Audi offers a 10-year warranty against rust.)
Best regards, Josef.

'Doesn't this offer a 10-year warranty against corrosion? It would be helpful to clarify whether it's just surface rust or actual perforation.'

Just visit an Audi dealership and inquire about the car. If they are uncooperative, you can check out typc4.de. Recently, a phone number was shared in one of the forums that you can call. Apparently, there are some areas (e.g., the tailgate on certain Audi 80 Avant and Audi 100 Avant models) where repairs might be covered under warranty.
It is likely that peeling paint on the doors around the bumper trim will be covered under warranty for these vehicles. However, this is only possible if the rust does not appear in a location where accident damage has been repaired.

As far as I know, Audi vehicles have a fully galvanized body. This means that either the galvanization process was flawed (resulting in an error), or the vehicle may not have been properly repaired after an accident.
Best regards, Thomas.
