Intercooler for a turbodiesel?

Hi,

While browsing the internet, I found a manufacturer in England who offers a header for our 4-cylinder engine. VP-TDI offers.

They claim that the product is designed to enhance performance, but why?
Can this be done with a turbomotor at all?

Hi,

This should also work with turbo engines. The key will be to design the intake manifold so that it creates resonances that promote better cylinder emptying and subsequent filling, and also that the exhaust gases haven't cooled down so much that the turbocharger can no longer operate optimally.
It's worth considering whether the additional performance could be achieved in a different and more cost-effective way.
