Intercooler for a turbodiesel?

Hi,

While browsing the internet, I found a manufacturer in England that offers a manifold for our 4-cylinder VP-TDI engines.

They claim that it should enhance performance, but why?
Is that possible with a Turbomotor?

Hi,

this should also work with turbo engines. The key will be to design the manifold so that it creates resonances that improve cylinder emptying and subsequent filling, and also that the exhaust gases haven't cooled down so much that the turbo can no longer operate optimally.

The question is whether this increased performance can be achieved in a different and cheaper way.
