Programming keys

Hi,

I bought a folding key (E**Y) and...
renovated. My spare key is finally coming in handy.
Button press detected. It wasn't particularly difficult!
I even modified the immobilizer (transponder).
And the whole thing actually works!!!!!!! *grins*

Only the Facebook page needs to be adjusted.
Sure, my Seat dealer would do that, but - do I want them to?
what on earth???
I have VAG Com, and I would much prefer to do it myself.
I don't know how!

What do I need to do?

Try this, it worked for me:

1. Insert the spare key into the ignition and turn it to the 'on' position.
2. Key fob in driver's door and lock.
3. Press the 'Open' button on the remote control to unlock the door.
4. Press the 'Open' button on the remote key fob and lock the door.
5. Unlock the door normally.
6. Spare key from ignition.
---and all of that within 30 seconds---

After successful programming, a short beep sounds.

Now I can see my Leon from 100 meters away.
Distance opens - but it also closes.
before I arrived!!!

How can the existing transponder be...?
Reprogramming a folding key?
Can it be done with VAG Com?
