Hello Rainer, I'm trying to reset the parking brake on my A6 to its default settings. I'm using the code 53-04-007, but I can't find the option to confirm the reset. Even with 010, pressing the button three times up and down doesn't do anything.
Looking for new updates because it's an A6 from the year 2008.
I don't see any new responses. I think it's working as it should, but how do I access it?
Can you help me?
Is it possible that I have to completely install the new version 9 and uninstall the old version 8?

My customer had tampered with the motors, and as a result, the system wouldn't function properly. Error messages related to the motors or wiring kept appearing, and it wasn't until he reset the activation sequences to 0 that the errors cleared and the system started working again.

Yes, Rainer, thank you. That was a silly question. Of course, there are no more updates for the older version, so that's how I did it.
Following the instructions, I proceeded with the A6, but I'm stuck after opening the brake system.

Bricks as a mechanical handbrake

As long as the parking brake functions correctly, it might be nice that adjustments to the cable/handbrake lever are no longer necessary. Also, it creates more space in the center console.

I can't really think of anything else positive to say... because I don't need things like parking assist.

Auto-Hold is much nicer in that regard

How do you request a driver?
The "correct" driver for the HEX-USB+CAN is the one that comes with version 908.1.

Without drivers, nothing works; you can't even get into the system.

Hi Rainer,
When I check for updates, it tells me there's nothing new, and then it shows me driver numbers and says I should install them.
Sure, I can access the other control units.
I also ran a quick error scan, and it detected the MSG file.
Also measurement blocks as well.
Only in room 53 does the basic setting work; in block 1, rooms 05, 06, 07, and 10 don't work.
Or maybe I'm doing something fundamentally wrong
