Hi everyone!
I drive a Sharan TDI 7M, manufactured in October 2001.
I put together the interface using the 'OK' components and the appropriate cable.
Upon closer examination of the diagnostic connector in the vehicle, a different pin configuration was identified. The following pins are connected: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, and 16. However, in the picture of the connector, pin 15 appears to be connected.

Is that why the thing isn't working? Or is the device not compatible with the car's system?

Help!!!

...if you have assembled the circuit according to http://www.dieselschrauber.de/diagnose.html, then you are in the right place with your question.

Otherwise: Ask where you got your circuit diagram from.

Pin 15 of the ODB socket is the L-line, which is probably no longer used in newer vehicles. This should not affect the function of the adapter.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hi!
'I apologize for my typos.'

I also figured out the problem with the adapter.
Wrong COM cable.
What I would also like to know is what the individual measurements mean.
For example, where can I turn the cruise control on and off?
Is there a table somewhere?

Best regards, Alex.

PS: The two circuits are identical.

Please search for "login" or "logincode" in the TDI error database.

Best regards, Rainer.
