Outside temperature sensor

Hello and good evening.
"My external temperature sensor from the Climatronic system has been showing readings that are consistently 6-10 degrees too low lately, so I'd like to replace it, or if there's a nearby connector, verschandeln it. Basically, I just want to know where to find this thing."
Does anyone know the specifications? Because if it's a PT100 sensor, I could practically replace it for free.

...I don't know what characteristic this part has... but one thing I know for sure - it definitely isn't a component designed for automation technology, like a PT100 characteristic .

Oh yeah, and that part usually sits somewhere on the left side of your bumper...and behind it, there's also a nice little connector.

Well, even on a classic VW Beetle, there are many parts that I can replace with parts from my own workshop or use to repair it. This applies to both electrical/electronic and mechanical components. So far, it has always worked very well.
I would still like to hear a second opinion...

Okay, the temperature sensor on the bumper is for the MFA (Multi-Function Display). Unfortunately, in our older VWs, there are two temperature sensors located there if you have air conditioning installed. The sensor you're looking for should be somewhere near the interior air intake. I'm quite sure of that.

I found the sensor behind the bumper. I just haven't felt like tinkering with it yet.
My MFA (Multifunction Display) doesn't have a temperature display because it's integrated into the Climatronic system. Does anyone really know anything about the sensor characteristics? Sorry if I'm bothering you .

@matthias... well, he wanted the outside temperature. The climate control system measures the interior temperature. In almost all German vehicles, we let the air pass through a small fan and flow past the sensor; in other words, it's located directly within the climate control unit, the center console, or wherever .

Matthias is referring to the second temperature sensor located in the fresh air intake duct. The two outdoor temperature sensors switch their functions; if one is defective, the other takes over. However, the actual outdoor temperature sensor is the one located in the bumper.
