Clutch engagement point and gear shift adjustment for Volkswagen Lupo 3L

I have a 1999 VW Lupo 3L, and I would like to properly adjust the clutch engagement point and the gear shifting.

Warum?
In einem VW Betrieb wurde für EUR 150 eine Getriebeeinstellung vorgenommen, weil die Schaltung nicht mehr in der Lage war im STOP Bereich den Motor abzustellen/starten. Sie haben mir empfohlen den Gangsteller zu ersetzten. Ich habe einen gebrauchten Gangsteller sowie die komplette Hydraulikeinheit ausgetauscht, jedoch wurde zwar dieses Problem behoben aber wieder neue eröffnet.

Problem
The circuit is so imprecise that the gears are not engaging correctly. The car is not drivable. The engine starts just (5mm) before neutral. The shift gate does not correspond to the transmission. The engine jerks and the transmission makes noises.

Procedure
Using a diagnostic tool, I repeatedly ran through the control program without seeing any improvement. The clutch engagement point was adjusted to 1.87V. A total of 28 switching cycles were performed.

Question
How can I precisely adjust the linkage? I tried adjusting it using the nut on the linkage rod at the bottom of the gearbox, but I'm not sure exactly how to proceed.

Does anyone here have experience or a detailed guide on this topic?

a) Are you sure those are the correct parts? According to the repair manuals, there are different versions (e.g., "stop" positioned at the top or top left), and the change occurred around the end of the 2000s. There might be compatibility issues, and it's possible that you installed the wrong part.
b) Are the used parts guaranteed to be in working order?

Regarding your question: You are correct that there are two different versions of the shift linkage, however, this is the correct replacement part and was 100% functional. The donor Lupo from '99 also had only just under 60,000 km on the odometer.

I think it's more likely a calibration issue, because I'm not entirely sure how to properly adjust this kind of circuit. Now, even when the motor is supposed to be stopped, it still runs, which it didn't do with the old system. And if you can start it just before the "N" position, then the circuit must be misadjusted...

In which selector lever position did you make the adjustment?
We recently made the same adjustment on an A2 with a similar transmission.
If I remember correctly, the lever needs to be in position "D".
