W-Clamp Retrofit for Valeo Lima Brakes

Hi there,

We put a VW T3 bus with an AHU engine converted to mechanical injection into operation over the weekend. Unfortunately, the engine has a Valeo-Lima starter without the W-terminal. Since the engine control unit is missing, a gasoline-specific diesel injection module (DZM) cannot be used either.
I opened the alternator housing to install the W-terminal and was surprised to see 6 (double) connections coming from the stator. I can't quite understand the wiring diagram. I tapped into one of them anyway, but it's not working correctly. The digital volt meter (DVM) shows nothing at idle and displays too much voltage when I give it gas. Furthermore, the readings also change depending on the load on the alternator.
Now I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the Lucas ignition system (or "lima") and/or some tips on what can be done with it.
