Hi, I noticed something while working on my Leon. The small LED in the driver's door isn't blinking anymore when I lock the car remotely. Also, the anti-theft alarm system seems to be out of order. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any further with VCDS. Could the driver's lock be the problem? 2010 Caddy kombi life 103 tdisg6 BMM KXW

Please check all locks/microswitches for plausibility using the Multi-Wire Balancing (MWB) method. MfG. Michael

The interior monitoring and alarm system is working again; it can be deactivated or activated via the driver's door lock cylinder. I read about this in the channel adaptation section and in the owner's manual . However, the indicator light in the door panel remains off . 2010 Caddy kombi life 103 tdisg6 BMM KXW

Check if it works using actuator diagnostics. MfG. Michael

It's either the LED, the cable, or the door control unit that's defective. Just build them and apply some voltage.
Measure beforehand to see if and what arrives. Honestly, I'm not sure right now whether 12V is coming out of the control unit or just 1.8V. MfG. Michael

The VCDS software includes a diagnostic function for the indicator light, which can be helpful in identifying the problem. This means the fault is likely located either on the wiring between the control unit (TSG) and the light, or within the light itself. The SSP 193 document can also be useful. However, I can't determine the voltage at which the light is operating from this information. Tomorrow, we'll start by working on the clutch, and then we'll remove the door panel. 2010 Caddy kombi life 103 tdisg6 BMM KXW

17€ for such a small diode with a piece of plastic, that's quite expensive. 2010 Caddy kombi life 103 tdisg6 BMM KXW
