Hello, I'm having the following problem with my Allroad from 2003, 120kw, engine code BCZ.
Always stays in the lowest position - The compressor starts running when I press to lift, but nothing happens - There is pressure, about 6 bar.
I have a second, fully functional Allroad available, and I'm using VCDS to compare the diagnostic data. The only difference I've observed (while raising the vehicle) is that on the second car, the rear air suspension valves on the left and right sides are "on" (while the front left and right are "off") until the pressure is correct. Then, the display changes, showing the front left and right air suspension valves as "on" (rear off), and the vehicle reaches the desired height.
"With a faulty suspension system, the air spring valve display shows 'on', the compressor runs continuously, and the vehicle does not lift even a centimeter."
Does anyone have any idea where the cause might be?
Or a troubleshooting guide for air suspension issues using VCDS.
PS car had an accident; the battery was dead for 3 weeks.
I hope I'm in the right department.
Thank you very much
