TDI Taxes: Calculation and Reclassification

What are the taxes for a 1Z 75 and 90 hp engine, and what are they for a 110 hp AFN engine?

Can this be phrased in a way that's suitable for D3 or something similar? Thanks!

Early models of the 1Z still had a Euro1 classification, but this could only be achieved through reclassification. You can find more information about this in the forum if you use the search function.

The maximum allowed is Euro 2. Euro 3 engines have different engine control units (ECUs) and are technically equipped differently (e.g., with ESP, injectors, TCU...).

In case he wants to generalize, the ALH with 90 hp has the D3... (but not necessarily ESP?!).

By the way, the ALH is essentially a 1Z engine with EU3 emissions standards (featuring different ESP components, injectors, fuel lines, and ECU).

If I'm not mistaken, the ALH engine also has a variable geometry turbocharger (VTG), while the 1Z engine has one with a wastegate.

By the way, I believe there are Euro 2 and Euro 3 versions of the AHF. Mine is definitely a Euro 2 version. Converting from Euro 2 to Euro 3 would only save you a few euros per year, but it comes with inspection fees at the TÜV (technical inspection agency).

The certificate came directly from Audi...free of charge.

A4 1.9 TDI 110 hp (AFN engine)... This model does not meet the Euro 2 emissions standard.
