Why doesn't it want to be externally audited?

Hi,

I want to have the Lima (likely referring to a specific component or system) externally tested. The reason is that the AFB (likely referring to a specific process or equipment) requires a long installation/removal time.

Okay, I got the Lima and connected it using a jumper cable.
Connect the battery. Attach the positive (+) wire to the B+ terminal and the negative wire to the chassis.
Multimeter connected to a battery and then to a drill.
Increase the speed.

It doesn't work like that icon_sad.gif 12.8 V icon_sad.gif.

The Lima still has a DFM and an L socket.

Okay, I've taken a diode test lamp, connected it to B+ and then to L.
Increased speed - still nothing.
The LED doesn't light up at any time. Should she not?
'When the lime is standing still?'

Does the Lima need to have a connection from DFM to MSG?
Or is the load of the diode test lamp too low?
It wasn't enough - I didn't want to build a bridge directly.

Unfortunately, I don't have a regular test lamp available right now...

Or, as expected, will the Lima also make it?

Ideas?

Some LiMa (alternator) regulators are controlled by the BNStG (Body Control Module), for example, in the Polo 9N platform, but definitely not anymore via the old incandescent bulb in the instrument cluster.
I don't know what voltage these regulators require.

I can definitely imagine that the current flowing through a test lamp wouldn't be enough to pre-charge the alternator sufficiently.

I got a regular test lamp from the hardware store icon_smile.gif.
It lights up, but unfortunately, it's ALWAYS on, whether it's standing or...
rotating.

I think it's broken.

According to the SLP (Service Level Plan) I have, one of the lines goes to the AI (Artificial Intelligence).
convert the other DFM to MSG.

But according to the information I found, the DFM is only...
a power cut for consumers or an increase in speed.
realized when the load on the Lima is too high...
'Which basically means that they have to actually produce something.'

Hello everyone!

@vag: Please note that the LM has a gear ratio of 2:1 with the motor (in terms of kW and RPM).
I'm not sure if you can achieve rotation speeds of significantly more than 2,000 RPM with a standard drill.

Otherwise, definitely operate it with a small 12V (approx. 3W) bulb connected between B+ and L for the regulator; do not connect it directly.
Depending on the battery voltage, the generator should start providing charging current via the B+ terminal at an engine speed of approximately 2,000 RPM.
If the "starting speed" is not reached, the light remains on and the battery will drain icon_wink.gif.

Best regards from Munich!
