Vacuum Pump Disassembly: What Next?

I'm really embarrassed to ask, but there's absolutely no information available about the vacuum pump. I disassembled it, and the valves are out. Based on a photo I found online, I was able to reassemble it to some extent, but I'm stuck on part number 4 – it's a plastic piece, a valve, and a gasket.

Does anyone happen to have a photo, drawing, or any idea of how this goes back together?

Okay, let me try to explain it again – when you remove the lid of the vacuum pump, you'll see two valves directly. One of them (where the vacuum hose is also connected) is a plastic part, a seal, and behind that is the valve.
It's specifically about these three parts – I spread them out in the garage using some air tools – and I have no idea how they go together anymore.
Normally, I would take pictures or write it down, but this just happened unexpectedly.

Someone might have a photo or information about it – that would be great.

THANK YOU for the offer - that sounds too complicated. I'm likely to damage it either way - I recently threw away a defective one - and even with that one, "only" one of the membranes/valves was broken - although, since you can't get replacement parts (thanks, Pierburg), that's probably the end for any pump .

"Someone might just have a pump like that on their workbench right now - that would be great. It's quite interesting that no one has ever encountered this problem before - I can't find anything about it, even in the most diverse online forums."

If everything else fails, I'll have to disassemble my other car to get parts, but I really wouldn't want to do that.

Not all vacuum pumps are the same. There are countless versions and designs.
I assume you're talking about the vacuum pump in your 5-cylinder Volvo with a VW engine?
Then there's the infamous one, like in the T4, and it's a well-known problem area.

Since these seals at the top tend to leak and draw in oil over time, which gradually impairs their function, I would recommend replacing them at the same time. This will give you some peace of mind for a while.
A Pierburg part from VW costs around 260 euros, or you can find them for around 200 euros on online marketplaces, and aftermarket versions are available from around 70 euros.
This pump is a safety-critical component, so I wouldn't try to fix it myself; I would just replace it.

It has to fit perfectly to be 100% airtight, and of course, it's not available as a replacement part.

I was able to disassemble a pump over the weekend (not a Pierburg, but with a similar design) - here's the breakdown (in case anyone needs it).

Yes, I am quite aware of that. I also once bought a new pump (around €250 at the time), and it started failing again after 20,000 km.
Basically, for me, it's just an acoustic issue that I tried to address during the engine rebuild. Right now, it's quiet, but if it starts again, I don't really care. I'm not worried about the pump, the camshaft, or the braking performance. If the vacuum pump is defective, you'll notice it. With my defective pump, the brake assist wasn't available for a while after starting the engine, which was very unpleasant. The problem was almost certainly a membrane, a cheap part that's hard to find.

Ultimately, I examined the pump from the inside, the cam, and the lifter - that should last for the next hundred thousand .

Yes, it was original and cost around €250. I'm still driving it today - it probably has about 100,000 km on it now. It occasionally makes a rattling noise, but not as bad as the previous one. As I said, in my opinion, it's just an acoustic problem that you apparently can never completely get rid of.
