The vehicle was an ambulance and, of course, was driven at full speed. It has a mileage of 280,000 km. After cleaning it, I'm now not so sure that the driveshaft spun out, although the ridges in the transmission look quite damaged. According to the previous owner, the car stopped without any unusual noises and couldn't be driven away. However, there was only 1 liter of transmission oil in it, although it's not known if the rest was drained. Currently, I've only removed the clutch discs, and they look like new. They don't smell, and the steel friction discs are neither blue nor warped.

Considering that the right driveshaft has always been a weak point and still is, it's truly remarkable how long it lasted.
Whether it's a manual or automatic transmission, the trapezoidal teeth in the area where the driveshaft connects to the transmission tend to wear out. It's recommended to check this area for play whenever possible, whether during a service or simply when working under the car. This can often help prevent larger damage, as in this case.

"Is there any information from the previous owner or records of the repairs that have been carried out? Is this the original transmission? Is this the original right-hand half-shaft? Based on the mileage and the usage profile, I would be very surprised if all of these parts are still from the factory."
