Can someone perhaps give me a hint? The search function isn't helping either!

Thank you new_all_coholic.gif.

No, I already have those.

Please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will then provide only the translation, without any explanations or additional information.

According to the forum, it should be in the error database, but I can't find anything there.

Instead, provide a listing of the individual measurement blocks in VAG-Com and their function.

Hi.

The values displayed there also appear in VAGCOM icon_idea.gif when the corresponding blocks are selected.

If you're referring to a collection of so-called "label files" that add motor-specific field labels to all readable blocks of data...
I once suggested that in the forum, but I don't think there was enough interest to make the effort worthwhile.

and how do I know which number corresponds to which block and which function?
Do I have to go through all of them until I find the value, for example, that matches the RPM reading on my T3 tachometer...? etc.?

Hi.

If you want to open the measuring blocks with VAGCOM, you must first enter a block number.
Then you will usually see 4 fields containing the information that is also described in the link mentioned above (for the relevant section).
If you have a suitable label file, it will even show you what is displayed under each field... just give it a try.

That's what I meant. Can you roughly say where the numbers start and end?

Best regards,

The field numbers are 10 (for group 000) or 4 (for all other groups).
The group numbers can range into the hundreds depending on the engine type, and many of these slots may be unoccupied.
