Hi,

VCDS unfortunately is not consistent with column names in logs.

According to the engine control unit part number, the vehicle is likely a Golf 7. I have left the 1380kg pre-set value in KPower, but these need to be adjusted for accurate results based on the mass being accelerated (vehicle scale at a warehouse, disposal operation, etc.).

Hi Rainer,
Thank you for your quick help, it worked.
It's a Golf 7 R with 300 horsepower. My vehicle weight according to EU standards is 1495 KG.
My weight is 95 Kg.
According to my calculation, I have approximately 287 horsepower and 356 Nm.
I also performed another measurement with air mass, which unfortunately only displayed the value in kg/h.
will be. I then converted it and got approximately 300 horsepower.
Best regards, Peter icon_smile.gif

I thought, before creating a new topic, I would just continue in this thread because the problem description from the original poster is quite similar to my current difficulty.

I have been using KPower for performance measurement for quite some time, and it has always worked very well so far.

Currently, when I try to import the file, I am receiving the following error message: "Check the log file, insufficient measurements or column names not found."

It would be great if I could get a tip on how to import everything again.

File attached.

Hi,

Please read the KPower instructions and avoid creating data clutter through meaningless conversions.

Hi,

Instructions have been read and understood, and they seem clear. In the past, the measurements have also always worked reliably. The computer was recently reset, could that be related?

No, the file contained garbage data.

Simply import the .csv file exactly as it is into KPower.
Maximum, a column name must be inserted. The new KPower version no longer requires this either.

Hello Rainer,
KPower Version is 3.0.9

I've retrieved another LOG file and attempted to import it into KPower, but unfortunately, without success. Changes to the settings have also not had any effect.

I have now attached a file again, in the hope that it is okay.

Hi,

Unfortunately, VCDS is inconsistent with the column descriptions in the .CSV file. The column marked in red must be inserted using an editor (e.g., Notepad or Wordpad) so that KPower 3.0.9 can read the file. In the next KPower version, this will no longer be necessary.

With the pre-set total vehicle weight of 1380kg (adjust to vehicle), the following chart results.

Best regards, Rainer
