Sometimes, when I start my Seat Córdoba (TDI, 3-cylinder engine), I hear a scraping, grinding, 'singing' noise that seems to be coming from the direction of the engine compartment. Sometimes it sounds like the noise is more noticeable when I'm starting very gently, for example, when I'm only a few centimeters away from a wall. Because I don't always hear this noise, it hasn't bothered me much so far. Should I take it to a mechanic, or could it be normal?
