Door Lock Replacement for VW Polo 9N3

Hi,
Our Polo is also slowly starting to experience the "microswitch plague."
The locking unit has the part number 3B1 837 015 AQ.
New part available from €130.
iBäh is about 100€ cheaper than the friendly Asian store.
Generally, the parts can be repaired (e.g., by resoldering or replacing microswitches if necessary).
But especially when dealing with intermittent issues, the question always remains whether one should...

Does anyone know of a source for reliable new parts that are a bit more affordable?

iBäh locks are like playing the lottery; some people are happy with them, while others find that neither the product from the first shipment nor the ones from the second and third shipments work.

My tip: Replace all switches and renew all solder joints. The most common problem isn't actually the switches themselves, but the solder joints of the contact tongues on the plug.

I've installed quite a few of them, and 9 out of 10 were fine. The defective ones were claimed under the warranty, and I received replacements free of charge.

First of all, thank you for your responses.
I just bought a used one for 20€, which will then be refurbished (new microswitches, everything will be resoldered, etc.).
Then I only need to disassemble the door once.

I would also advise against choosing the budget options.
I once installed a product from AIC Competition Line, but it didn't work, and I've had similar issues with other electrical components from that brand.
