Number of LC starts and general DSG transmission check

Hello,

Since I'm planning to change my car soon and might want to buy something "more powerful" (like a Golf R, S3, RS3, or RS Q3), I'm generally wondering if it's possible to determine the number of LC (presumably "Launch Control") starts a car has had.

This type of vehicle is actually perfectly suited for such operations.

What else can be quickly checked using VCDS in the case of a DSG transmission?

Hello, with the DQ500, it is possible to read the number of LC starts.

Go to the transmission control unit, then under "advanced parameters," and you'll be able to search for "launch" and find it there!
