I already tried that, but it was completely wrong, so I bought a new DD sensor and took a closer look at it tonight (while using a replacement car in the meantime).
Result: The measured load value was approximately 6g, while the calculated value was 42g.
Okay, I've cleared the errors and attempted a forced regeneration.
I was unable to start the regeneration process in the way described in the
document, because it always requested "access permission," even though the code had been entered under "Security Access" (VCDS only displays the code for regeneration when the vehicle is stationary). And contrary to the description for V6 CR UDS, I have always needed that code for service regeneration; although sometimes it would display "No seed from the control unit." It's all quite unstable.
Using "Security Access" and then "Default Settings," I was able to start the service regeneration process successfully each time. The process would then run for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, during which the calculated value decreased to around 24.5g, while the measured value dropped to 1.6g.
BUT: Every time after that, there was an error in the MSG, and the calculated value would again be above >40g

It seemed more like the forced regeneration was being interrupted, and I suspect VCDS might be involved. Every time, the advanced measuring values would go to "n/a," and almost simultaneously, the regeneration process would end. You also had to re-enter the control unit each time. However, the laptop is a fairly new Zenbook with Windows 10 and USB 3.1...
Can't I just simply delete that stupid calculated value? Or how do I start the regeneration process in CCWA?
