Hi icon_smile.gif

I've already done some searching, but I couldn't find anything relevant to my specific situation, so here's my two cents on the whole DPF issue...

Okay, I understand. Please provide the text you want me to translate.

"I bought a B8 with a 2.0 TDI CNHA engine, 190 hp, Quattro, and a manual transmission, with 194,000 km on the clock, and I was already prepared for the fact that the DPF would eventually need to be replaced. At around 215,000 km, I had a software upgrade installed by a reputable tuner, increasing the power to 215 hp and 450 Nm, which is still quite reasonable and drivable."

"When accelerating quickly from a standstill, the car went into limp mode with the error code "rail pressure too low." I didn't think much of it at first. Then, a second error code, P2002, appeared, intermittently and unconfirmed, and had occurred 1000 km ago. I cleared both error codes, and so far, they haven't reappeared."

Around 225,000 km, it started with occasional jerking, increasingly frequent DPF regenerations (every 100 km), and finally, the DPF warning light started flashing. I then replaced the DDS (Diesel Particulate Sensor), but it didn't help, and ultimately, I had the DPF sent away for cleaning. It urgently needed it, with an ash mass of 72 grams and an ash volume of 0.18 liters, and it was already showing pressure differences exceeding 800 mbar under full load. Up until then, it had also been throwing the P2002 error code at regular intervals. After that, I reset the ash mass to 5 grams, adapted the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system, and adapted the DDS.

Also neu gemacht, er regeneriert wieder. Yay.

Okay, here's the translation:

"So, here I am, with 231,900 km on the odometer, and I've replaced the DDS (likely referring to Diesel Particulate System components), cleaned the DPF, have functioning EGR 1 and 2 (at least, that's what VCDS says with the actuator diagnosis), a new temperature sensor (the other 3 are reading plausibly, otherwise it wouldn't regenerate), and successful regenerations. And yet, I'm still getting the P2002 error code approximately every 300 km. Now, after another 150 km, the check engine light even comes on. I've temporarily taped it off; I don't want to have to connect the laptop every time."

Okay, so my question is, what else could be broken? Everything seems to be working fine; I have good performance, good fuel efficiency, and I've eliminated everything that could possibly be related to the problem. And yet, it keeps throwing the same error.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm completely stuck, I can't think of anything else. I have VCDS available for personal use, so if any additional data is needed, I can provide it.

Attached is the error log from the day I experienced the limp-home mode. The P2002 error code is always the same, with the same environmental conditions, so it doesn't matter whether it's the current log or the one from that day. It always occurs under partial load, and always when the engine is warm.

Best regards,
