Polo 9N 1.4 TDI - Radiator Fan

Hi,

"On our Polo, the radiator fan doesn't switch to level 1 when the air conditioning is turned on; instead, it cycles between level 2. Is it possible to manually activate it to test it? Does it have a resistor connected?" I couldn't find anything, and I don't want to pay a lot to have a new fan installed.

Can the fan be controlled using VCDS? Could I borrow a copy?

It should be possible to access it using VCDS, but I'm not sure if that works with the Polo 9N.
Level 1 usually runs continuously with the climate control system.

I couldn't find any information about "auslesen" or "testen." I'll take a look at the car in the next few days and measure the connections of the fan. It's either the fan itself or the control unit. It's still quite simple technology.
